　　當(dāng)老師宣布要我參加英語朗讀比賽時(shí)，我就決定要全力拼一拼，爭取最好的成績，讓大家以我為榮。

　　拿到稿子的時(shí)候，離比賽沒幾天了，媽媽和老師天天陪著我練習(xí)，我也努力一讀再讀，背得滾瓜爛熟，應(yīng)該是沒有問題了吧？

　　哪里知道比賽的前一天晚上，我卻緊張的睡不著覺，再床上翻來覆去的，直到清晨四點(diǎn)才迷迷糊糊的睡去。

　　到學(xué)校的時(shí)候，我一點(diǎn)精神也沒有，全身軟綿綿的，暈頭轉(zhuǎn)向的，這樣能比賽嗎？誰知道一聽到比賽的鐘聲響起，我一下子充滿了精力，精神奕奕的上場了。

　　這次比賽的對手，一個(gè)比一個(gè)強(qiáng)。我努力的把平日練習(xí)的成果，自然的展現(xiàn)了出來。

　　上午，在英語培訓(xùn)班上，Lovely老師說：“同學(xué)們，第二節(jié)課我們卓越英語學(xué)校將舉行一個(gè)英語活動(dòng)，我們班也可以參加�！痹掃�沒說完，我們?nèi)�班同學(xué)立即歡呼起來，Lovely又把比賽的規(guī)則說了一遍，讓全班同學(xué)都理解清楚。

　　比賽開始了！我們班被分成了四組，每組四人，我被排在B隊(duì)。我們B隊(duì)選中我負(fù)責(zé)記錄物品，一個(gè)男老師分給了我紙和筆，開始報(bào)物品的英文，總共是10個(gè)單詞。我那時(shí)候的心情應(yīng)該是緊張加激動(dòng)吧，十種簡簡單單的物品，我卻有好幾個(gè)字不會(huì)寫，哎！真是太緊張了。

　　寫好清單后，接下來的活動(dòng)就有點(diǎn)像電視上的.“購物街”。我們B隊(duì)飛快地沖進(jìn)了物品區(qū)，開始分頭行動(dòng)，按著清單上的物品，我們順利地把十樣物品都找齊了，水彩筆、計(jì)算器、糖果……看來勝利就在眼前了。

　　緊接著我們隊(duì)進(jìn)入了最后一個(gè)階段就是歸還物品。趁A組還沒好時(shí)，我們隊(duì)把物品仔細(xì)對照了一遍，又把英文單詞念了一下，應(yīng)該是沒問題了。如果勝利女神對我們微笑，我們就可以到曼德沃超市去參加半決賽、決賽，那該有多好哇！

　　輪到我們了，我太緊張了，竟然把果凍單詞都讀錯(cuò)了，不過馬上就糾正過來了。比賽還在進(jìn)行中，我們隊(duì)順利地讀出了一個(gè)又一個(gè)的單詞，后來我們把所有的物品都?xì)w還給老師，比賽就結(jié)束了。覺得比賽時(shí)間好短，我感到好像還沒有玩夠似的。

　　最后，我們隊(duì)拿了第一名，這一刻，我們的美夢突然實(shí)現(xiàn)了，我們隊(duì)可以進(jìn)入半決賽了！今天我好開心，我想我也會(huì)在半決賽中好好努力的。

　　The contest was held at the playground last Saturday morning, 7:00a.m. The panel is made up of 5 English teachers from our school, all of whom were experienced. Moreover, a total number of 20 competitors came from we Grade 2. It was made a rule that the top 3 competitors would be awarded. It is a great competition and all the participants perform well. I was so lucky that I won the first place.

　　by seven-thirty the seats were almost filled. the school band was there; they wore yellow and black uniforms. they started to play at about a quarter to eight. everybody stood up, and the people sang. the game was about to start. two teams ran out to the floor. the referee blew his whistle, and the game started. a basketball game is divided into two halves, and each half is divided into two quarters. there is a rest period between the halves. during the first five minutes of the second half, the score was tied. from then on, the game was very exciting. first one team made a basket, then the other. the people cheered, and everybody was wondering which team was going to win.

　　the ball hit the rim of the basket and seemed to hang there for a moment, and then it fell through the basket. the whistle blew and the game was over. home team won, 70 to 68.
