　　China Calls for Stability on Korean Peninsula

　　The Chinese government has issued a new call for peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.

　　The comments follow reports South Korea, Japan and the United States are going to enter into a new agreement to share military intelligence about North Korea's nuclear and missile programs.

　　Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying:

　　"We have already noticed the report. Currently the situation on the Korean Peninsula is relatively calm. But such status is still fragile. We hope related parties could work together to promote dialogue and mutual trust so as to safeguard the stability on the peninsula, not the opposite. We think this is also in line with our mutual interests."

　　It's being reported the trilateral intelligence pact is going to be singed on Monday.

　　As part of the deal, South Korea will deliver intelligence to the U.S., who will then, in turn, pass it on to Japan.
