　　Nowadays, there is a famous app installed on almost every smart phone called “wechat”. It is a mobile text and voice messaging communication service developed by Tencent, and it is the largest standalone messaging app by monthly active users,described by . More and more people are fascinated by this social software. Meanwhile, it also becoming a potential threat to our face-to-face communication.

　　As for me, wechat plays a vital role in my daily life. I can send massage to my parents and friend, and get latest information from moments. We have access to having a meeting by discussing in the forum. In a word, wechat does facilitate our life, providing a convenient way to contact others. However, I found it is hard for people to talk with friend face-to-face for the growing number of wechat users.

　　The first thing I will do when they wake up is to check wechats massage, rather than say good morning to my roommates. When I hang out with friend, I always subconsciously look down to my cellphone, ignoring my friends talk. More and more people prefer sending massage on wechat to facing each other. Consequently, it is becoming a trend that a large number of people addicted to typing on the screen during their spare time. And I am also becoming one of them.

　　Maybe this new modern way of communication doesn`t limited by surroundings; people are free to express their opinion. But it lacks of nonverbal communication. It is impossible for us to having eye contact through this app. Besides, concentrating on screen will do harm to our health. It is high time that we should put our phone aside.
