　　當老師宣布要我參加英語朗讀比賽時，我就決定要全力拼一拼，爭取最好的成績，讓大家以我為榮。

　　拿到稿子的時候，離比賽沒幾天了，媽媽和老師天天陪著我練習，我也努力一讀再讀，背得滾瓜爛熟，應該是沒有問題了吧？

　　哪里知道比賽的前一天晚上，我卻緊張的`睡不著覺，再床上翻來覆去的，直到清晨四點才迷迷糊糊的睡去。

　　到學校的時候，我一點精神也沒有，全身軟綿綿的，暈頭轉向的，這樣能比賽嗎？誰知道一聽到比賽的鐘聲響起，我一下子充滿了精力，精神奕奕的上場了。

　　這次比賽的對手，一個比一個強。我努力的把平日練習的成果，自然的展現了出來。

　　果然不出老師所料，我真的拿到了第一名，我大大的松了一口氣。得到第一名的感覺實在太棒了，我的一切努力都得到了回報。

　　過了一會兒，一個工作人員把我們這二十幾個人全都領到了二樓一個教室里面。一共有兩張卷子，一張是對你的英語學習情況進行了解，比如：你讀英語報紙嗎？A、經常B、偶爾C、只讀過一次D、從未讀過。讓你選擇并在A、B、C、D前面打對號。接著又發(fā)了第二張試卷兒，太難了。第一、二題是聽力部分。第一題是他說一個句子讓你選A、Yes,heisB、Yes,sheisC、Yes,theyis.第二題是他說一個故事，讓你選試卷上面寫得是對還是錯。我們讓工作人員放了五遍都沒怎么聽懂。

　　過了一會兒，我們把筆試做完后，開始靜靜地背誦我們準備的故事。然后，工作人員覺得A1組已經結束了，就把我們五人一組五人一組的帶下去進行才藝表演。當你背誦完后（如果你還沒背完就到時間了就會讓你停�。�，外教就會給你提供一張照片并提問你一至三個問題，如果你答不上來，外教就會對你說：“thankyou.”

　　the ball hit the rim of the basket and seemed to hang there for a moment, and then it fell through the basket. the whistle blew and the game was over. home team won, 70 to 68.
