Having learned English for more than ten years, I＇ve met several English teachers. Each has his or her own strong points. The following are some of my ideas about what an ideal English teacher should be like.
First, an ideal English teacher should have correct pronunciation and intonation. When we learn a language, we hear it mostly from our teacher. If the teacher is not correct in his pronunciation and intonation, how can he expect his students to be right? Second, an ideal English teacher should be fluent in his spoken English. He must be able to express himself well in English. Third, an ideal teacher should have a good command of both the English language and his mother tongue. He should be clearly aware of the differences between the two languages and the two cultures. Moreover, an ideal English teacher should have a strong sense of humor so that he can keep his classroom filled with laughter. Finally, an ideal English teacher should know the art of teaching and be able to motivate his students to study and equip them with the correct way of learning English.

in sum, there is a great deal one cangit out of being a teacher. i suppose not all teachers get all that they can out of their profession. some may get very little. but for those who are suited by temperament to be teacher,it is a perfect job.

他是一個大約四十多歲的中年男子，個子不高，但有著一口渾厚的嗓音，讀起英文來很是好聽。
當(dāng)然被分進(jìn)他的班之前，就聽過他的.英語教學(xué)很棒�，F(xiàn)在想想，這個好聽的嗓音也是功不可沒。
老師平時上課的時候會讓我們先跟讀，之后再自己朗讀，課后再布置一些需要背誦的片段。
有一次，我偷懶沒有認(rèn)真地背誦，結(jié)果課堂上被抽查到，于是放學(xué)后被留堂了。
那天被抽查到的好幾個同學(xué)都不會，所以放學(xué)后我們被安排在老師辦公室外先再背誦，等熟練了再背給老師聽，過關(guān)了才可以回家。我自己背誦的時候還可以，可一面對老師就背得磕磕絆絆，好在老師也沒有為難我，終于放我過關(guān)了。
還有一次，學(xué)校舉行班級集體歌唱比賽，老師幫我們一起挑歌，而且他自己做指揮，也要先跟著練起來。
第一次他在我們面前亮嗓地時候，都把我們給驚艷到了，原來他不僅英語說的好，連唱歌也好聽。
做為英語老師，我們大家都很喜歡上他的課，即使課上有抽查也不怕；做為班主任，他帶領(lǐng)我們班拿了不少地榮譽(yù)，我覺得他是一個很棒的老師。

本周周3星期四原本是有英語課的可是聽說音樂老師的女兒在外地生病住院了，老師就去那里去照顧她的女兒去了，所以這兩節(jié)課就有新老師來帶星期三下午是有兩節(jié)英語課的，老師竟然給我們找了一個代課的老師。這個老師我原本在我考試的時候遇見過兩回，都是給我監(jiān)考的那個，監(jiān)考老師看他的樣子，我開始一直以為他是一個數(shù)學(xué)老師。也感覺他并不是那么嚴(yán)，而早上第一次上課時看他做了連續(xù)好幾個搞笑的動作讓全班都大笑了起來。
聽他講的'東西都在電腦上，可是他好像連電腦都不太會用，這看上去都感覺他十分的好笑�？墒呛髞硭皇悄敲春眯�，他還是很嚴(yán)格的。只要上課說話就要站到外面去，而且他還說幾個人說話是討論的就到外面去討論區(qū)，說完再回來。雖然是這樣說，可是還是沒有人敢到外面出去，說不定出去之后就再也不能回來了。
感覺他的英語教的還行。他做的英語課件還行，可哪都都太多了，7，8，9年級的部分都有。星期五下午要開家長會，都是在一起開了。不讓他知道這樣說無非是在后面說我們以后怎么辦，下學(xué)期可以上績效，就可以去上了。想上高中了依舊要好好帶上。

i have come to believe that a great teacher is a great artist and that there are as few as there are any other great artists. it might even be the greatest of the art since the medium is the human mind and spirit.
i shall speak only of my first teacher because in addition to the other things, she brought discovery.she aroused us to shouting, bookwaving discussions. she had the noisiest class in school and she didn’t even seem to know it. we could never stick to the subject. she breathed curiosity into us so that we brought in facts or truths shielded in our hands like captured fireflies.
she was fired and perhaps rightly so, for failing to teach fundamentals. such things must be learned. but she left a passion in us for the pure knowable world and she inflamed me with a curiosity which has never left. i could not do simple arithmetic but through her i sensed that abstract mathematics was very much like music.when she was relieved, a sadness came over us but the light did not go out. she left her signature on us, the literature of the teacher who writes on minds. i suppose that to a lager extent i am the unsigned manuscript of the high school teacher. what deathless power lies in the hands of such a person.
i can tell my son who look s forward with horror to fifteen years of drudgery that somewhere in the dusty dark a magic may happen that will light up the years…if he is very lucky.

這次期中考試對我來說很重要，因為我以前的英語成績一般，期中考試英語分?jǐn)?shù)提高很大的，要感謝許老師的教導(dǎo)有方，每次上課時，老師總是耐心地講解知識點(diǎn)，遇到重點(diǎn)語法時，會提醒我們做好筆記。如果有同學(xué)不認(rèn)真聽講，老師會及時找他談話，溝通學(xué)習(xí)中遇到的難題。
