英語(yǔ)作文 篇3
Lin Hao, in face of so great a catastrophe, did not evade but gave his hands to his classmates. It was his confidence and calmness that gave others the second life. I am proud of him. To be honest, Lin Hao is my little hero in my heart.
Bernard Shaw has ever said a word. "Those who have confidence can transform smallness into greatness and make mediocre things look beautiful''. In another word, self-confidence is the first step to success. Thus, no matter when and what, we do not allow ourselves to be discouraged. Lin Hao's experience tells us that confidence is very important to us. It also reminds me of my own experience during the first year of senior middle school. After I entered senior school, I found it really hard for me to learn math well. There were so many problems which I didn't understand that I did badly in exams. Both my parents and math teachers believed that I couldn't learn math well. One day I met a difficult problem which took me nearly an hour to work it out. Nonetheless,I realized that I was the only one in my class to work it out! That really built up my confidence in math. Finally I became very good at math and my math teacher was surprised by my progress. It was confidence that helped me overcome the difficulty.
If a person wants to be successful, the first thing to do is to get confidence, as success is the body of confidence.
英語(yǔ)作文 篇4
What will win, money or knowledge? I look upon this matter for a long time and came to a conclusion that knowledge is more important than money. Without proper financial planning, we might eventually face financial problem even though we are filthy rich. Another similar situation would be, without a good understanding in English we will not be able to write good post to entertain our readers, isn’t it? So for a long run I think it is bad. Well, that’s only my personal point of view.
Knowledge will forever be the best & future ingredients of life as we know it.
If you got stuck in the middle of no-where (or maybe on another planet) with no transportation or no one around - will money get you home any better?
If you have to pick between a billion knowledgeable thoughts or a billion dollars - wouldn’t you rather spread your knowledge to others instead of thinking about becoming a billion dollars for yourself?
Money governs our system in which we live right now, but knowledge will defy & yet prove the facts about endless dollars that are spent in our worldly developing lifetime.
I would much rather (in almost any lifetime) have all the knowledge in the world than all the money in the world! Not because I don’t need to be rich, but because spreading that knowledge would be infinitively more bliss-full & pleasurable than passing around money to people everyday.

英語(yǔ)作文 篇5
Language is essential; language is what we use to communicate among others。 It is something that joins us just as strongly as it separates us。 There are many different “l(fā)anguages” in the world but really they are all bound by certain rules, they all have a format that they follow, all of them have, nouns, verbs, tenses, and adjectives。 Language is almost like a math, the point of it is that when you speak, you try to reach a conclusion with a different person, and in math you use equations to solve problems and reach conclusions, one is numbers the other is words。
英語(yǔ)作文 篇6
My name . There are 4 people in my family. My father a Chemtry teacher. He teaches chemtry in senior high school. My mother an Englh teacher. She teaches Englh in the university. I have a younger brother, he a junior high school student and preparing for the entrance exam.
I like to read Englh story books in my free time. Sometimes I surf the Internet and download the E- books to read. Reading E- books fun. In addition, it also enlarges my vocabulary words because of the advanced technology and the vivid animations.
I hope to study both Englh and computer technology because I am interested in both of the subjects. Maybe one day I could combine both of them and apply to my research in the future.
英語(yǔ)作文 篇7
With the development of our society, competition has become more and more fierce.Competition usually comes as an important and necessary part of our society especially economic affairs. As is widely recognized, fierce competiton has largely promoted our society.Without competition,it is hard to imagine what will offer our world with so much energy to move forward. And as for single person, competition can also force him to struggle and make the most of his potential ability. As a college student, first of all you should ease the potential fear for competition. In fact after realising the importance of the competition you can already overcome such feelings. Then you should show your ability and skills adequately.Do believe that whoever will not ignore you only if they have known your talent.

competition is a common phenomenon in our social life. we compete when we play games and when we try to do better than others in our study. there is constant competition for academic degrees, jobs, customers, money and so forth. in a sense, competition is one of the motive force to the development of society.
in the natural world, the weak will be replaced by the strong and the fittest can live; therefore, the only way to survive(活下來(lái)) is to be competitive. growing in a competitive environment is important for a child because future adult life is difficult. finding a good job, for example, is an extremely competitive activity. today, most people obtain knowledge through various ways and a large number of people get good education. there are also many people who have higher degrees in their special fields. the quality of people is rapidly increasing. competition is more violent(激烈的) that what we thought it should be. the potentially(潛在地) successful job applicant(申請(qǐng)人) has to be prepared in a stronger position by gaining more qualification(資格) and experience. in the sports contests(競(jìng)爭(zhēng)), the strongest will come out as winners. they become our heroes and they are glorified(贊美). in the business world, to beat your competitors, you must be better than the other employees. otherwise you will be defeated(擊敗).
關(guān)于寫(xiě)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)的英語(yǔ)作文【4】
CompetitionAs we all know, competition is a common phenomenon in our social life. There is constant competition for academic degrees, jobs, customers, money and so forth. In a sense, Competition makes people original and creative. It very necessary to compete if human society wants to advance.
Competition can stimulate people to try their best to do anything. For example, in 100-meter race, each sportsman runs as quickly as possible, trying to win the
champion. The same things happen in our society and in our daily life. If a company wants to surpass others, it must compete with them. It must raise its efficiency. All the companies doing this will no doubt benefit the whole society and the whole human race. Without competition,it is hard to imagine what will offer our world with so much energy to move forward
Being a student, I must compete with other students in our studies. I must study hard in all the fields so that I can be a useful man when I enter the society after graduation.
關(guān)于寫(xiě)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)的英語(yǔ)作文【5】
Both competition and cooperation play a large role in the advancement of society, both in business and non-business areas. Competition forces people to improve their products or services, and hence benefits the recipients of these products or services. Cooperation, however, plays an even more important role in development of individuals and the society as a whole, because it drastically increases the scale of these
improvements. Working in groups and teams far increases the productivity of individuals. Thus, I firmly believe children should be taught to cooperate rather than to compete.
First of all, cooperation is an important skill in the future life of all children. They will need to live with other people throughout their life, since they will not study alone, work alone, nor spend their leisure time alone. If they do not know how to cooperate with their classmates, their colleagues, and other family members, then they will lose the chance to live happily. Thus, cooperation skills should be taught before they grow up to face serious problems living with others.
Furthermore, cooperation is a significant contributing factor to the development of society. While competition generally ends in a win-lose result, cooperation advocates that one plus one is larger than two, three or even a larger number. For example, the competition of two business firms would ultimately lead to the result that one becomes stronger and the other fails and goes out of business. However, if they cooperate with each other successfully, they may group together to form an enterprise larger than the mere sum of the two. The more successful cooperation there is, the better the society develops. Thus, cooperation should be taught to children, because eventually they will be the executives of important corporations.
Admittedly, competition also plays a significant role in many areas. Stressed by the competition, individuals and organizations have to struggle to survive, and so they are forced to make improvements and develop.
However, in comparison, cooperation is more effective in helping individuals and societies to develop, because it benefits not only individuals, but also society as a whole. The reality is that children should be taught both, but if forced to choose only one, parents should undoubtedly teach their kids to cooperate rather than to compete.
