　　好激動�。∶魈炀褪怯⒄Z比賽了！晚上我一直睡不著，一直在想那里漂不漂亮，評委好不好，我在那里一直在想。三個字：睡不著！

　　終于到了這一天英語口語大賽，我急忙起床，洗好臉，吃完飯，準備好東西出發(fā)，我在車上看了一路的風景，老師說：“一個小時就到了，請大家耐心坐車�！苯K于到達汽車站，我們排好隊伍向比賽場地走去。一到比賽場地，我發(fā)現(xiàn)我們竟然是第一個到比賽地的學校！

　　好興奮��！老師抽了幾個牌子，我是50號所以我比較慢才輪到，前面幾個同學回來告訴我：“哇，那個加拿大的外教真好，對著我們一直微微地笑�！苯K于輪到我了，我用眼瞥了一眼外教，發(fā)現(xiàn)他總是笑咪咪的看著我。我想起來之前老師給我打氣的話，瞬間就覺得不再緊張了，我的演講順順利利就結(jié)束了。回來后，我很興奮，一直在說外教和評委，我好開心地和同學玩起了游戲，等所有的同學比賽完了，大家才戀戀不舍的.離開了比賽場地。后來，老師還帶我們?nèi)ト脴涔珗@，那里的風景美極了，綠樹成蔭，許多市民在那里游玩，散步、下棋。

　　回校的路上，我一直在想：這次比賽雖然結(jié)束了，但是今后更多的比賽正等待著我，我要時刻準備著，努力學習，鍛煉好自己的本領(lǐng)，更重要的是我不會忘記常常開口說英語！

　　Some say growing up in rich family promotes children's personality and character. Some think otherwise. What's your opinion? Why?

　　Well, it's quite a question argued by people all the time. I think a person's personality has little relation to his family economic level. It's commonly said that a child in rich family will has more chances and better choice for his study. However, if the kid himself isn't aware of this, that is all in vain. It's not unusual that many children from rich family are quite rude and conceited although they are always receive the best education. Then, how about the poor family's children? There is another saying that adversity cultivates heroes. To be honest, I disagree with it too. Poor children should learn harder and catch every chance to strengthen themselves.

　　However, the reality is often not like that. Subjectively speaking, poor children are easy to feel inferior and thus can't study well. Even if they study well, they hardly do well in practicing ability. Objectively speaking, poor children can hardly receive good and plentiful education because of the economic limit. That will cause deficiency in some literal or artistic talent such as music or dance. Therefore, I think children's personality have little relation to their family situation.

　　我經(jīng)歷過很多比賽，比如跑步、跳舞、寫字……，可是讓我最難忘的就是英語歌曲比賽了。

　　這周，學校舉行英語周活動。在老師的推薦下，讓我去參加英語歌曲比賽。終于，比賽的日子到了，我走進大禮堂，看見大禮堂里坐著好多人，我的心開始忐忑不安起來，總是想：萬一我唱錯了怎么辦？萬一忘記歌詞怎么辦？萬一……比賽開始了，我們班的俞力銘第一個上場，只見他胸有成竹地唱起來，還加了許多活潑的動作，臺下的觀眾都被深深地吸引了。唱完以后，俞力銘看到我害怕的樣子，說：“別怕，只要你把下面的觀眾當成蘿卜白菜就可以了。”

　　該輪到我上臺了，我暗暗地為自己“鼓勁”：別慌，我能行，一定能行的。我挺直了腰桿，大膽地走上臺去，為大家唱起了一首《彩虹歌》，隨著優(yōu)美的歌聲，我慢慢地忘記了緊張，越來越放松，越唱越好。演唱結(jié)束了，臺下響起了一陣雷鳴般的.掌聲，我的心里甜滋滋的。

　　經(jīng)過了這次難忘的英語歌曲比賽，使我深深明白了：無論做什么事，實際上都不像我們想象中的那么難，只要對自己充滿信心，就一定能成功。

　　The game was scheduled to start at start at eight o’clock on Friday night. Long before that, people began to arrive at the gymnasium.

　　By seven-thirty the seats were almost filled. The school band was there; they wore yellow and black uniforms. They started to play at about a quarter to eight. Everybody stood up, and the people sang. The game was about to start. Two teams ran out to the floor. The referee blew his whistle, and the game started. A basketball game is divided into two halves, and each half is divided into two quarters.

　　There is a rest period between the halves. During the first five minutes of the second half, the score was tied. From then on, the game was very exciting. First one team made a basket, then the other. The people cheered, and everybody was wondering which team was going to win.

Instead of having junk food, eat more fruits and vegetables which contain more vitamins.

　　On the wholedoes harm to our health. So, get rid of the bad eating habits to stay healthy.
