又到了三月底，當(dāng)老師詢問(wèn)我是否要去參加央視的希望英語(yǔ)比賽時(shí)，我并沒有像上次那樣推脫，而是淡淡地答應(yīng)。一瞬間，種種交雜著苦與樂的回憶涌上心頭，而我明白，這令我又愛又恨的英語(yǔ)大賽，又將成為一個(gè)與眾不同的挑戰(zhàn)。
去年的三月底，英語(yǔ)培訓(xùn)班的老師也曾問(wèn)我相同的問(wèn)題。從來(lái)不愛出風(fēng)頭的我，雖然極不情愿，但還是被大家拉著去報(bào)了名。至此，令我難忘的訓(xùn)練時(shí)光緩緩拉開了序幕。
每天晚上七點(diǎn)的培訓(xùn)，令我只能一放學(xué)扒幾口飯菜丟下書包就跑。那是是畢業(yè)班，放學(xué)晚，培訓(xùn)地點(diǎn)又遠(yuǎn)，真是沒辦法。第一輪只是筆試因此訓(xùn)練就是不停滴做題，然后聽老師講長(zhǎng)篇大論的解題技巧，相當(dāng)無(wú)聊。上完課，就得趕緊回家，趕完學(xué)習(xí)哦啊的作業(yè)，別提有多累了。而復(fù)賽的準(zhǔn)備更是復(fù)雜：寫演講稿、背稿，準(zhǔn)備回答評(píng)委的問(wèn)題，還要不停修改稿子，研究語(yǔ)調(diào)、動(dòng)作、發(fā)音。這，還算是簡(jiǎn)單的------道理后期，才藝表演、抽單詞顯示編故事、首字母故事接龍、模擬清靜等各種項(xiàng)目五花八門地向你拋去，真不知該怎么辦才好，只得無(wú)奈地感嘆“時(shí)間都去哪兒了”。
籌備一段時(shí)間以后，比賽正式開始，抱著半推半就的心情，我聽過(guò)了筆試。復(fù)賽演講那天，臺(tái)下黑壓壓一片全是人，選手們都很有經(jīng)驗(yàn)，真叫我自愧不如。懷著緊張的心情我上了臺(tái)，勉勉強(qiáng)強(qiáng)完成任務(wù)，還算機(jī)智地回答了問(wèn)題。雖然自己不是很滿意，但結(jié)果竟然是我進(jìn)入了廈門市決賽。后面賽事也是如此，在福建省省賽的半決賽中自以為表現(xiàn)并不十分出色，但總算是完成了任務(wù)，而且奇跡般地晉級(jí)了了！在省賽的決賽中，我敗下陣來(lái)來(lái)，由于并不十分在意結(jié)果，我也沒有太失望。
話雖如此，在這一段經(jīng)歷中我的確得到鍛煉和收獲。從剛開始的緊張、勉強(qiáng)到最后的泰然自若，令我明白凡是都要經(jīng)過(guò)歷練、方能熟能生巧；從剛開始時(shí)間的緊急、慌亂到后來(lái)的從容，告訴我時(shí)間需要安排；從剛開始的`孤身奮戰(zhàn)到最后前仆后繼的“戰(zhàn)友“陪伴，讓我收獲了友情與樂趣。培訓(xùn)也許是痛苦、枯燥的，但也令我收獲了友情與知識(shí)；比賽也許是緊張、毫不留情的，單頁(yè)令我明白了”人外有人、天外有天“的道理，令我得到了鍛煉，提升了書評(píng)，有了與眾不同的經(jīng)歷�；厥走^(guò)去，在我抱怨那次比賽的同時(shí)，我也逐漸開始享受比賽的刺激，體驗(yàn)挑戰(zhàn)自我的樂趣，收獲成功的喜悅。成績(jī)并不重要，但我有了目標(biāo)，我為之奮斗并收獲了成功，我超越了自己也取得了進(jìn)步。這才是最重要的，它足以抹去那次比賽中我所承受的壓力與所有不愉快，足以令這次經(jīng)歷成為美好的回憶。
也許，在今年的英語(yǔ)大賽中，我還會(huì)抱怨，還會(huì)緊張，我還會(huì)有壓力；但我還是準(zhǔn)備迎接挑戰(zhàn)，盡自己所能做到最好----畢竟，這是寶貴的經(jīng)歷。可能若干年后回首往事，我還會(huì)感嘆：英語(yǔ)大賽啊，真令我又愛又恨。

by seven-thirty the seats were almost filled. the school band was there; they wore yellow and black uniforms. they started to play at about a quarter to eight. everybody stood up, and the people sang. the game was about to start. two teams ran out to the floor. the referee blew his whistle, and the game started. a basketball game is divided into two halves, and each half is divided into two quarters. there is a rest period between the halves. during the first five minutes of the second half, the score was tied. from then on, the game was very exciting. first one team made a basket, then the other. the people cheered, and everybody was wondering which team was going to win.
the ball hit the rim of the basket and seemed to hang there for a moment, and then it fell through the basket. the whistle blew and the game was over. home team won, 70 to 68.

Thank you for your kind letter. You told me that you and most of you classmates went out for a three-day trip. I really think it fun. Now let me tell you something about a speech contest, which I have taken part in.
The contest was held at the playground last Saturday morning, 7:00a.m. The panel is made up of 5 English teachers from our school, all of whom were experienced. Moreover, a total number of 20 competitors came from we Grade 2. It was made a rule that the top 3 competitors would be awarded. It is a great competition and all the participants perform well. I was so lucky that I won the first place.
