　　This afternoon my school held an English-speaking contest in the multi-function classroom. The contest was named "Challenging the Future"I was present at the contest as an audience.

　　比賽開始。首先，是兩位主持人一番簡短的介紹，然后選手開始挨個兒上臺。每個人都有一份課件，上面是演講內(nèi)容，選手要流暢地背出稿子，才能得高分。他們一口流利的英語，聽得我云里霧里。我不由得感嘆道，這就是差距��！不過根據(jù)課件上的英文，我還是認(rèn)出了一些單詞。

　　選手的情況也不同：有的一口英語說得頭頭是道，聽得人一愣一愣的；有的上了臺過于緊張，忘了詞，又下來整理整理思緒再上臺；也有的'背得不錯，卻出了一點小插曲的……可謂是千姿百態(tài)。

　　選手們講的內(nèi)容各不相同：有的流暢地講了那些經(jīng)典的故事；有的介紹了自己喜歡的動物或東西；還有的講了自己從一句話或者一件事中感悟的道理……內(nèi)容各不相同。
