Time is very importmant to him, he must finish his task on time , or he wouldn’t live a steady life , he has to pay the rent and taxes and so on, but he insist on taking every chance to make his life live better and he believe in himself. 　　When I was anaughtyboy, may be because of theinfluenceof the film "Xiao Bing Zhang Ga", my dream was to be a soldier just like Zhang Ga. I thought if I was a soldier, I should be able to swim, dive and climb trees as he did. It seemed to be very wonderful. So I began to learn swimming, diving and climbing trees. I practiced every day and finally I could do them well. But when I entered junior high school and had themilitarytraining. I suddenly found that being a soldier was very difficult and I wasn't strong enough tobearit. I had to give my dream up.

　　當我還是一個頑皮的孩子的時候，也許是受到電影《小兵張嘎》的影響，我夢想著成為一名像張嘎那樣的軍人。我想如果我是一名軍人，那我就會像他那樣會游泳、潛水、爬樹。那樣該多好啊。所以我開始學習游泳、跳水、爬樹。我每天都練習，終于我做到了。后來，我升初中的時候，參加了軍訓。我突然發(fā)現(xiàn)當軍人是非常困難的，我還不夠強大到能適應。我不得不放棄我的夢想。

I could speed along streets on a bike and throw newspapers onto everyporch. That's also very cool. So I started learning to ride a bicycle. After the everyday practice, I could go very fast by bicycle. But to my disappointment, the job which I wanted onlyexistedin western counties not in China, because there was no porch in China. And Chinese postmen had to stuff very thick newspapers into very small mailboxes from very narrow entrances. The job was far from what I had expected. So once again my dream fell through.

　　但是，我還是沒有泄氣，我有了一個新的目標，就是當一名郵差，哪怕是一個報童也可以。如果我成為一個報童，我可以騎車在街道上飛馳把報紙扔在每一戶門廊前。這是件多么酷的事。于是，我開始學起了騎車。經(jīng)過每天的練習，我可以騎得很快了。但令我失望的是，我想要的那份工作只有西方國家才有，而中國是沒有的，因為中國家庭是沒有門廊的。而中國的郵差不得不將一摞很厚的報紙從非常窄的'口子投進很小的郵箱里。這樣的工作與我的想象天差地別。所以我的夢想再一次破滅。

　　Perhaps you have had the same experience as I and most of your dreams haven't come true yet. But I think it doesn't matter, because if you have a dream, you'll make many efforts to realize it. This course is really important. If I hadn't dreamt of being a soldier or a newspaper boy. I wouldn't have learned to swim, to dive, to climb trees or to ride a bicycle. Even if our dream can't come true, you'll learn much from the efforts you have made. So what I want to tell you is that dream helps us to grow up and teaches us how to control our lives. A great number of presidents, leaders, successful businessmen and famous professors come out of there. Students can learn a lot in there. Their ability of social skills, leadership skills and the skills of solving problems will improve a lot.

　　Harvard is not a dream for me, it’s my aim. I know that only a very few Chinese students can study in that Campus. And I hope that I could be one of them. The road to Harvard is very tough, I know that I will make a lot of efforts to achieve it. But no matter what difficulties I will meet , no matter what challenges I will face, I am sure I can overcome it by trying my best. That’s for my dream.
