先說(shuō)語(yǔ)法吧，只要是個(gè)句子，就得有一個(gè)時(shí)態(tài)，什么現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)，一般將來(lái)時(shí)。有時(shí)態(tài)倒不要緊，要緊的.是，在英語(yǔ)中，一變時(shí)態(tài)，就要給主語(yǔ)和動(dòng)詞來(lái)個(gè)脫胎換骨。還有變復(fù)數(shù)、比較級(jí)，都要把詞稍微改動(dòng)那么一下。如此這般，要把這十八般武藝都操練精熟了，還真不容易。在英語(yǔ)里，還有許多變動(dòng)方法不規(guī)則的詞，讓人眼花繚亂。這樣的詞，變動(dòng)后人們很難猜出它原先是什么，因?yàn)樗缫咽谴嗽~非彼詞了。而漢字則方便多了，人們只要加上一些表示時(shí)態(tài)的詞就萬(wàn)事大吉，不用再費(fèi)盡心思地變?cè)~。
其次，用英語(yǔ)說(shuō)話也怪費(fèi)勁的，就說(shuō)背乘法表，在中國(guó)，再“沒(méi)文化”的人也知道“不管三七二十一”中的“三七二十一”。而在英語(yǔ)國(guó)家，例如英國(guó)、美國(guó)等，人們根本就沒(méi)有“乘法表”這個(gè)概念。因?yàn)橛糜⒄Z(yǔ)根本背不了乘法表!不信你用英語(yǔ)背一下乘法表，肯定是詰屈聱牙，難以成誦。而國(guó)人大多都能倒背如流。
最后，英語(yǔ)的最大麻煩就是：翻譯太死板。富有中國(guó)特色的東西，用英語(yǔ)一翻譯，就顯得生硬呆板，完全變了味兒。就比如中國(guó)電影《劉三姐》，本來(lái)挺好聽(tīng)的一個(gè)名字，但到了英語(yǔ)國(guó)家，就變成了可笑的“第三個(gè)姐姐劉”。中國(guó)成語(yǔ)“如虎添翼”到英國(guó)就成了“老虎加上了翅膀”在中國(guó)，這個(gè)成語(yǔ)是形容人有了得力助手。但在英國(guó)，就算你有霍金的智商，華羅庚的推理能力，恐怕你也很難想到它是什么意思。一些英語(yǔ)譯成中文，雖然不至于太離譜，但也讓人笑痛肚子。“回家過(guò)年”居然譯成了“十七年”。而當(dāng)英語(yǔ)譯成中文時(shí)，總是很準(zhǔn)確，就算實(shí)在無(wú)法翻譯，也可以音譯。
